PROCESS WATER
Aeration of white water chests and other process water holding tanks: Prevent anaerobic conditions and minimize the formation of hydrogen sulfide and volatile fatty acids in white water chests—particularly in recycle mills.
WASTEWATER
- Equalization tank aeration and mixing
- High-strength wastewater oxygenation: Reduce oxygen consumption by maximizing the oxygen transfer efficiency of concentrated or pure oxygen injection systems for biological treatment of high-strength wastewater.
- Post treatment reoxygenation: Increase the dissolved oxygen levels in treated wastewater, to satisfy regulatory requirements, prior to discharge. In-line reoxygenation systems oxygenate the treated effluent directly in the main pipeline, eliminating the need for a tank or basin.
Regardless of the application, venturi injectors can help reduce operating costs by improving the oxygen transfer efficiency and reducing maintenance as compared to conventional diffusers and spargers.
